What is the Deed Deposit Register?
The Deed Deposit Register (UH register) is a separate register within the Austrian Land Register in which Superaedificates are recorded. Registration in this register is voluntary and serves to legally document buildings that are not intended to remain permanently on a plot of land.

The register was previously maintained in paper form and has been available in digital form since 1 June 2022. All Superaedificates that existed before this date can still only be viewed in paper form. Digital entries therefore exist exclusively for newly created Superaedificates from the above date onwards.
The Deed Deposit Register ensures transparency and facilitates proof of the existence and ownership of such structures in Austria.
