Which types of companies are entered in the Business Register?
The Austrian Business Register records partnership and cooperatives. These include, among others, Limited Liability Companies (GmbH), Joint-Stock Companies (AG), Joint-Stock Companies (OG) and Limited Partnerships (KG) – the most common legal forms of Austrian businesses. Cooperative Societies, both commercial and economic, are also entered in the Business Register.
