Via the Cadastral Database, both Land Register Data – maintained by the Regional Courts – and Cadastre Data – maintained by the surveying offices – can be retrieved online. This provides a complete overview of the legal and factual conditions of properties in Austria.

The system is established centrally by the Federal Ministry of Justice (BMJ) and the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying (BEV). The administration of the Cadastral Database is carried out by the Regional Courts and the surveying offices.

Further information on the Cadastral Database is available on the website of the Federal Ministry of Justice (BMJ).
