The Land Register is structured into so-called Cadastral Municipality (CM). For each Land Register unit – that is, each property to which entries relate – a separate folio exists, uniquely identified within the Cadastral Municipality (CM) by an Entry Number.

Each folio in the Land Register consists of three parts (sections):

  • A-sheet (Inventory Sheet): contains information on the property, its location and use
  • B-sheet (Ownership Sheet): shows the owners
  • C-sheet (Encumbrance Sheet): lists mortgages, easements or other encumbrances

A Land Register Extract can be retrieved online via fbgb or requested from the competent Regional Court.

Further information can be found on the official website oesterreich.gv.at.
